After the success of the Rombax Series, Fujikura has recently released an upgrade to the model. The Rombax X type. Mid Launch, Mid Spin, Mid Bend, the Rombax X is an excellent, easy to hit shaft for golfers of every level. Simply because it's an easy to hit shaft, doesn't mean it isn't a good shaft for the good golfer as well. Increased stability, accuracy, and distance are all provided with the mixture of Vectran and Kevlar Triax technologies.

The Rombax Type X 75 shaft is the heavier of the two Rombaxes weighing 75 or 77 grams (Stiff, X-Stiff). The Type X 75 also has a soft tip stiffness.

Vectran fibers are manufactured, spun from a liquid crystal polymer. Incredibly strong, and weather resistant, the addition of Vectran Fibers to Rombax shafts greatly increases stability.

Kevlar Triax is designed to reduce ovalling. What that means is throughout the swing and at contact the shaft will maintain it's circular shape. What this actually does increase stability of the head during impact.
